In 2000, Tim Ayers launched the firm after leaving the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association, where he was vice president for communications. In that position, he was the principal press spokesperson for the wireless industry and worked closely with the major companies in the industry. Prior to CTIA, he was director of communications for the governor of Maryland and director of marketing for that state.

His associates include senior writers and editors who are widely published under their own names, and often work as ghostwriters for top executives. Other associates include seasoned public relations professionals, speechwriters, former journalists and government officials. Tim serves on the executive board of the Independent Public Relations Alliance—a rich source of talent and experience.  He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Relations Society of America—National Capital Chapter, which is the largest PR chapter in the nation.
